Neil Gholson
Founder/President Neil began his career in marketing and/or operations in 1981, and in 1989 went full-time into the insurance industry. Long-term-care experience includes regional sales manager for LTPC from 1999-2003, and regional manager for the National Education Association’s Long-Term Care Program. Neil holds his Health/Life/Variable Annuity License, Series 6 License, and is also has his Certificate in Financial Planning. Neil can offer insurance products in all 50 states and expanded into the Medicare market in 2015. Neil enjoys spending time with his daughters, working out, and boating.
Tom Matteson
Founder/Sales Manager/Broker Tom has been in the financial services industry for over 18 years. He received his B.A. in History from the University at Buffalo in 2000, where he also played football for the Bulls. He began his career upon graduation working in capital equipment sales with Canon Business Systems and then transitioned into the mortgage and real estate industry in 2004. Since 2010 Tom has worked in the insurance industry helping people understand what all their options are for Medicare. Tom enjoys fishing, working out, and spending time with friends and family.
Evan Novak
Founder/Broker Evan has been in the financial services business for over 25 years. During this period, he helped folks throughout the country manage their investments, and over the past eight years, their insurance needs. Specializing in the senior market and working with clients directly, is both fun and exciting. Evan enjoys helping people, by giving them peace of mind in securing their healthcare future. Evan enjoys spending time with his lovely wife Delina, golfing with his son Morgan, and rooting for the Dallas Cowboys.
Bob Newcomb
Office Manager Bob is an important cog in the MIC wheel. He handles all our licensing and compliance needs. Not only with the states, but with the insurance carriers as well. Bob enjoys boating, fishing, and day-trading.
Rayma Tatum
Comptroller Rayma is an integral part of the MIC team and has over 10 years of experience managing the back office needs of an insurance company. She handles payroll, reporting, and information technologies. Rayma enjoys spending time with her family, working out, and making blown glass artwork.
Shaun Fusari
Licensed Broker Shaun is a very well-rounded individual who prides himself on helping others. He is a very knowledgeable broker who has assisted thousands of clients with their Medicare over the course of the last 5 years. Shaun is licensed in 43 states nation-wide and approaches his business with the utmost tenacity and dedication. He enjoys assisting others with understanding the complications involved when deciding what options will be best when the time for retirement comes. On his free time, you can find him fishing in the bay or taking his Rhodesian Ridgeback to the park for an enjoyable afternoon.
Mary Crilley
Licensed Broker Mary began her career in the hospitality industry with Delta Airlines where she spent 15 years traveling the world and helping people feel comfortable. After 9-11 Mary decided to get into the insurance industry and has been there ever since. She began her insurance career with Amer-Life in 2006 and in 2010 moved over to the Medicare department and has really enjoyed helping seniors understand Medicare. Mary’s hobbies include kickboxing, painting, and the occasional wine tasting.
Teresa Hanna
Licensed Broker Teresa began working in advertising for some prestigious newspapers including The Los Angeles Times and The Miami Herald for over 20 years, in 2009 she acquired the 215 Health and Annuities License and embarked on a career that would help people with their medical insurance coverage. Teresa originally worked for Cigna helping individuals and families get insured. When that market changed in 2012, she began helping seniors with Medicare insurance programs. Teresa is currently licensed in 38 states helping people with their Medicare supplement and Part D drug plans. She enjoys working with seniors who are new to Medicare or helping those who have been with Medicare to save money on their supplement and drug plans. Her hobbies include golf, tennis and riding her motorcycle
Kevin Moore
Licensed Broker Kevin has been helping people with their Medicare insurance for almost six years. Kevin is a consistent top producer and a recipient of our Outstanding Sales Achievement Award for 2016 and 2017. He has helped thousands of customers better understand their Medicare options and his clients absolutely love working with. Personally, Kevin has his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Delaware College of Health and Physical Education. He is married to his lovely wife Shannon and they have an eight-year-old son named Dillon (2017-2018 Tampa Bay Cub Scout Pine Wood Derby District Champion
Jennifer Everton
Licensed BrokerJennifer Everton is a licensed insurance broker specializing in Medicare programs. She represents over a dozen different companies in thirty-seven states across the country. Ms. Everton is very well versed with how Medicare works and confidently compares all available options. Her passion is assisting seniors with their choices for Medicare, and she takes great pride in providing quality service to her clients. Along with a vast experience in sales, Jennifer studied finance at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors with her two Labrador retrievers.
John 'Jack' Reed
Licensed BrokerJack is a Pennsylvania native, Villanova University graduate with a degree in Marketing & Finance and played football for the Wildcats. Upon graduation his professional experience was in automotive consumer retail and pharmaceutical sales prior to joining the Financial Services Industry in 2013. He spent the last 5 years successfully helping thousands in the senior community manage their finances and insurance needs in multiple states across the country as well as serving his local community by volunteering at Tampa Meals on Wheels and participating in multiple Senior charitable events. In his spare time you can find Jack spending time with his two teenage children, Katie & Tommy, and spending time with family and friends taking advantage of the great outdoor activities the sunshine state has to offer.
Deborah Durisin
Licensed Broker Deborah Durisin is a license insurance agent at MIC Financial. She has an Associate Degree in Office System Technology and Pharmacy Technician Certificate. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for 25 years and decided to change her career to the Insurance industry. She has been selling Medicare insurance products for the last 10 years. Deborah is very passionate and enjoys helping seniors. Deborah was born in the state of Florida and has lived in Florida most of her life. She has 3 sons and two beautiful grandchildren, whom she loves very much.
Sommer Stanley
Licensed Broker I grew up in the Florida Keys and decided to move to Wisconsin and now I find myself back in the sunshine state to stay. I have been helping seniors with their Medicare insurance for about 4 years. I really enjoy helping people, so this career path suites me perfectly. In my off time I enjoy spending time with my family at the beach.
Becky Jackson
Licensed Broker Becky has worked in Insurance for the last 30 years. Much of that time was spent in customer service, and in the last 10 years specifically in the Medicare field. Becky enjoys combining her passion for helping people, with her knowledge of Medicare. She is a mother of 2 grown sons, so in her off time, she likes spending time with them. Becky also enjoys reading, hitting Saturday morning yard sales, and enjoying the Florida sun.

Licensed Broker I lived in Big Rapids, Mi for 10 years and while there attended Ferris State University were. I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Business Marketing Sales and an Associates in Applied Speech Communication. I have lived in the Tampa area for 18 years and have had my Life Health and Annuities insurance license since 2004. My focus in the insurance field has been in the senior market. I really enjoy working with the senior market, it allows me to educate seniors on how Medicare works. I leave the office smiling every day, knowing I helped improves someone’s situation. On my off time I enjoy spending time with my family and my three grandkids. Also watching movies, taking my yorkie Scout to the park and taking care of my two cats.

Helping seniors figure out this maze, we call Medicare is something that is very near and dear to my heart. I got started by helping my family members with their Medicare Insurance years ago, so I treat my clients like family. When I am not dealing with insurance, my family and I are working on our farm.
